Subscribing to Newsgroups gives you information from and access to experts in all areas. It will also allow to ask questions and even answer some yourself. My rule: subscribe to everything. Yes, it does mean lots of e-mail comes in. But I have learned about some amazing events, applications, and people through these subscriptions. Here are some I subscribe to:

Discovery Educator Network - This is a great site to keep abreast of. Subscribe to feed updates to find out what's happening in the Discovery Educator World.
Kathy Schrock's SOS - This weekly website update sends great sites your way with brief descriptions and a link.

180 Technology Tips - This daily email provides simple technology tips. The early ones in the year start off fairly simple. Later ones introduce some great sites to try out, with how-to lessons for ease of use.
Annenberg Media - This site offers resources and professional development information. Sign up for the newsletter.
